OUROBOROS is a quarterly journal of evolving magickal paradigms. It finds its voice in the continuing magickal and pagan renaissance as an intelligent forum on magick, pagan culture, history, practice, world myth, and mysteries. OUROBOROS aligns with no particular school or tradition. It seeks to explore openly without an agenda.

OUROBOROS explores such varied subjects as esoterica, the occult, magickal theory and practice, hermeticism, grimoires, goetia, world mystery traditions, world pantheons, ancient paganism of various world cultures and today’s neo-paganism, ceremonial magick, shamanism, folklore, voodoo, alchemy and witchcraft. In addition to stimulating articles, OUROBOROS contains book, media, & product reviews, biographies and interviews.

OUROBOROS by its very nature will continually be evolving. The journal was born out of the considered process of reviving its predecessor, New Moon Rising. It was discovered that there is a great need for a more in depth and mature study of practical magick, paganism world myth, and mysteries. OUROBOROS seeks to go deeper into myth, magick, and mystery, without becoming a dense scholastic journal. OUROBOROS aims to supply the inquiring mind with food for thought and ideas to bring into practice.

OUROBOROS welcomes aspiring and established authors and artists to submit their work for publication.
